Having always been one of those teenagers who could eat whatever they wanted and not gain a pound, it came as a bit of a shock when I went off to University and gained ‘the freshman 15’ (or in my case 2.5 stone).
I didn’t like what I saw in the mirror and hated squeezing myself into spanx on a night out. Having lost a family member due to health problems, I decided to sort my own health out. I entered a half marathon, educated myself on nutrition and transformed my body. Fast forward 5 years, I’m now a personal trainer, lover of healthy food and all round fitness addict. I love helping people become their healthiest, happiest selves.
I know what it’s like to live in that vicious cycle of not liking how you look but eating junk food to make yourself feel better about the situation. It is my belief that you can lose weight without having to compromise on taste and enjoy yourself throughout the process. Health and fitness does not need to be a chore!
