Monitoring weight-loss and weighing yourself… Everyone seems to be obsessed with it! If the number is going down we’re happy but if it’s stuck on the same number or increases, we start criticising ourselves and all the unhealthy food choices we’ve made for the past 5 years!
The issue with weighing yourself is that it NEVER tells you the full story.
So, here are some reasons your weight might have increased:
-You’re due on your period,
-You just ate or drank,
-You haven’t been to the bathroom,
-You’ve gained muscle.
If you’re weight training then its very likely you’ve gained some muscle that means you’ll look leaner but on the scales it will say you’re heavier.
So, what is the best way to track progress & monitor your weight-loss?
So, ditch those scales and start getting serious about tracking your fat-loss. Weighing yourself never tells the whole story!
